Marietta Parks and Recreation maintains all city parks with a variety of amenities, including the iconic Glover Park on the Marietta Square. The department offers various programs, athletics and special events throughout the year and also maintains two (2) indoor recreation facilities.

Now open at Custer Park Sports and Fitness Center
Children Ages 6 months to 12 years can enjoy supervised child care with games, movies, art activities & more!
Parent/Guardian must call 770-795-5630 in advance to ensure availability!

Monday- Friday: 4pm-8pm
$2.00 per visit, per child(2 hour max)

Coming Soon.... The Elizabeth Porter Park
The Elizabeth Porter Recreation Center is now closed to make way for a new park in its place. This park will feature a, playground, picnic pavilions, restrooms, concessions andgreenspace. For more information check out the Elizabeth Porter Park page.
Coming Soon.... Kirby Park
A new park facility is set to be built in the Frasier and Manget area of Marietta. It will be called Kirby Park, in honor of Joe Kirby. Phase 1 of this forested neighborhood park will include a soft surface walking trail, bocce court, covered bridge, and overlook of the stream that dissects the property.
